| Breif: |
Role Purpose:
• Assist in project development within the company standards and approved systems
• Provides engineering support and services to the Strategic Projects & Planning department
• Responsible for contributing to project cycle to include design, review of engineering designs, reference drawings related to specialist engineering fields, provides necessary comments, development and project completion.
• Performs project management on a wide variety of engineering and construction projects.
• Manages the schedule, scope of work and cost estimation for EPC or other construction project.
• Manages and follows up with the current projects.
• Manages technical project execution support such as cost control, project monitoring.
• Ensures all projects are complying with company and regulatory standards and to the agreed end user requirements.
• Manages the process of monitoring ongoing projects and provides input and feedback on rectifying challenges or deviations conducted by private contractors.
• Sets project schedules for internal purposes, coordinates communication efforts within the department, and advises departments of any overlaps in schedules and provides input and feedback to rectify deviations.
• Ensures that quality control procedures are established and applied throughout project stages.
• Ensures that health, safety and environmental (HSE) control policies and procedures are taken into consideration during the project’s duration.
• Ensures sufficient and suitable resources, materials and equipment are available to complete all project work correctly within the approved project budgets.
• Establishes control within an ISO certified quality assurance system.
• Handles Variation order and Time Extension cases
• Provides input for generation of monthly progress report.

| Requirements: |

|
• Bachelor degree in Power / Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant certification in PMP / TQM would be an added advantage
• At least 3-5
• years experience as project engineer.
• Familiar with proposals, construction, engineering and consultative projects.
• Knowledge of Quality assurance Certificates and systems (ISO).
• Working Knowledge in MS-Office and Project Management Tool (PRIMAVERA, MS-Projects).
• Knowledge in cost estimation and risk analysis.
• Knowledge in relevant standards and procedures. |
