Grid Code is referred in the Sector Law ‘’Article 22&23’’. Grid Code consists of the rules which govern the Transmission System in Oman. It consists of the rules of interaction between various parties in the system.

Main contents of the Grid Code:
The Grid code is maintained by Grid Code Review Panel, which has representation from various participants of the Sector. The panel meets quarterly and reviews the Code, implementation and Significant Incidents in the system and training issues. 49 meetings have been conducted starting from sector restructuring in 2005 till May 2017.
